He has been teaching Political Science at CNLU since 2006. As an Assistant Course Coordinator and Nodal Officer of Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD), Patna he imparts training to I.A.S., D.S.P., B.D.O. and C.O. Rank Probationer Officers. As a resource person he takes classes in UGC sponsored orientation & refresher courses in Political Science. He is also programme in-charge of IGNOU study Centre at CNLU. In the Academic field he has written numerous articles and presented several papers at National & International seminars. He has visited Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Italy & France during academic exchange programme and delivered lectures, chaired the technical session of seminars. He is also supervising ICSSR Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the year 2021-2022.
He has completed a one week course in Direct Trainer Skill Developed by Thames Valley University, United Kingdom in association with the Training Division, Department of Personnel and Training, Govt. of India. Hon’ble the Chief Justice of Patna High Court cum Chancellor of the University has appointed him Chair Professor Panchayati Raj, CNLU. He is holding the post of Registrar of the University since August, 2023. Earlier also he was the Registrar of the University from April 2008 to April 2018.
